Veterinary Technician
Full-Time Position
Job Summary:
The Veterinary Technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all clients and patients in the practice. This position will assist the Veterinarian with the day-to-day operations of the practice and will be expected to provide exceptional customer service to our clients, staff, and patients. This position will also be expected to perform all duties of a busy practice, including assisting in medication administration, surgical procedures, boarding, and emergency care. The Veterinary Technician is also responsible for answering phones, answering questions about services and patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a clean facility. The Veterinary Technician reports to the Veterinarian.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
·Provide exceptional customer service to our patients and clients.
·Answer phones and schedule appointments.
·Maintain client relationships.
·Maintain facility cleanliness.
·Assist with medication administration in surgical procedures.
·Assist with patient care including medication training and education, wound care, dental care, and pet care.
·Assist with sterilization of instruments.
·Scheduling appointments for patients.
·Maintain facility cleanliness.
·Work with other staff members as needed to ensure that all duties are carried out in a timely manner and to maintain a professional appearance at all times.
·Work as a team member with other staff members to ensure that patient care is carried out in a timely manner and to maintain a professional appearance at all times.
·Ensure confidentiality of patient records according to HIPPA guidelines at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mount Pleasant, SC 29464: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
