Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various kitchen settings and be proficient in meal preparation, menu planning, and food service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook and plate menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with catering events and special functions as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient operations
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a restaurant or catering environment
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality
