JOB DESCRIPTION
Sullivan Paper Company is looking to hire an Information Technology Support Specialist to support users in both our West Springfield and East Longmeadow locations. Our users have roles both on the manufacturing floor and in the office. Support will be provided 100% on-site.
Sullivan Paper is a converter and printer of decorative papers. Our products are proudly manufactured in Massachusetts and can be found all over the world. Sullivan Paper creates high end wrapping for retailers, box covering papers for use by cosmetic companies, candy companies, jewelers and more. We are a third generation, family-owned Company. Essential Functions

Responsibilities
· Provide first line support to end users in person, phone, or email with hardware and software issues.
· Maintain product life cycle data on deployed workstations and other resources to ensure timely upgrades.
· Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and hardware.
· Deploy networking and other infrastructure equipment.
· Maintain operating system and application updates.
· Assist with server management, managing users, mailboxes, backups, and more.
· Provide excellent documentation of issues and resolution to build knowledge base and create library of “How Tos” for frequent user requests.
· Collaborate with departments to identify best practices, security gaps, and opportunities to be more efficient.
· Provide user training and guidance on best practices.
· Communicate with vendors for licensing, support, and projects.
Requirements
· Relevant degree or appropriate certification(s)
· Drivers license and reliable transportation
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to run and terminate networking cables
· Ability to lift and move 50lbs and climb ladder.
· Solid knowledge of the following systems and applications:
o Microsoft Windows 10, 11
o Mac OS 13, 14
o Office 365 apps
o Adobe Creative Cloud
o Local and networked printers
· Working knowledge of the following systems and applications:
o Windows Server 2019, 2022
o Active Directory
o Exchange Server Online
o RMM (Pulseway, Ninja One)
o Back Up Software (Shadow Protect)
o Ubiquiti Unifi OS
o SonicWall
o Anti Virus (Sentinel One)
o MS SQL Server
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Readiness to learn and assist with specialty manufacturing, printing, and ERP software.

Physical Demands: Work effort principally involves sitting to perform work tasks, with intermittent periods of stooping, walking through the facilities and standing. The employee is occasionally required to lift objects such as boxes of paper, boxes of gift wrap, cabling, or similar. The job requires motor skills for activities such as writing, moving objects, operating a phone, computer and/or most other office equipment, typing, filing, and organizing of documents. The employee must be able to stand, walk through the facilities, drive a motor vehicle, carry and climb a ladder, pull cable, lift and carry 50lbs, bend, crouch, kneel and other such activities related to installation of cabling and cameras.
Visual Demands: Visual demands require the employee to constantly read documents for general understanding and analytical purposes.
