Maintenance Tech
To perform maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities in support of the manufacturing operations. Repair of mechanical, plumbing, electrical and hydraulic systems as required. Support facilities and materials activities to meet and maintain environmental and safety compliance under state, federal and company laws and policies. Perform preventative and periodic maintenance on equipment per defined schedules. Experience working in the metal industry will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot equipment failures and machine faults.
· Effectively communicate with all levels of management, operators and external repair vendors.
· Document machine error codes and corrections.
· Provide support to cross functional teams to ensure processes are optimized for machine uptime and efficiency.
· Participate in machine installation, relocation, and removal.
· Assist with periodic Safety and Facility audits.
Essential Skills and Duty Requirements:
· Knowledge of CNC, Fine Blank, Grinding, lapping, and Grinding machining.
· Basic industrial electrical.
· Good mechanical aptitude, and ability to work with all types of mechanical tools.
· Willing to get dirty in the course of equipment and facilities repairs and clean up.
· Self-motivated, attention to details, team worker.
· Sound troubleshooting methodology skills using DVM meters, machine inspection, reading hydraulic & electrical prints, and sound trouble shooting methodology skills.
· Safety knowledge - LOTO, SDS, Hazardous waste handling.
· Assure the work environment meets the safety standards of the operation and report any safety incidents to management.
· Preventative Maintenance documentation system knowledge (CMMS Logging).
· Forklift certified.
Education and Training:
Required to have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent and 5+ years of technical training in electronics and controls. Ideally some college or vocational level training with a focus on machine technology and/or electronic technician skills. Relevant work experience will be considered.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
