for its School Based Partial Hospital Program!

The Mental Health Therapist serves a pivotal role in providing support, instruction, and therapeutic intervention within a classroom setting. Our Mental Health Therapist is fundamental member of the team in conducting continuous functional behavioral assessments, devising and executing behavioral health plans, and fostering social, emotional and academic development. In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide a seamless and comprehensive support system tailored to the distinct needs of each student.
Location: PLEA School in Pittsburgh, PA
Salary Range $56,000. This is a 10-month position and the salary will be based on education, certifications, and experience.

Qualifications
- Understanding and agreement with the philosophy and objectives of the PLEA school
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with others
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Highly motivated to work with special needs population and their families
- Strong knowledge of child development, therapeutic interventions, and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills, and ability to adapt to changes
- Maturity, reliability, and sound judgment
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Human Services or related field (clinical discipline preferred).
- Experience working with special needs children is required.
- ACT 33, ACT 34, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.
- PA Mandated Reporter Training.
- Must be 18 years or older.
