Overview:
FHIA Remodeling in Ft Lauderdale, FL- the largest home improvement provider in Florida- is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our payroll team as a Payroll Commission Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely processing of commission payments to our employees. You will work closely with the payroll team, sales departments, and other stakeholders to ensure that commission calculations are correct and in compliance with company policies and regulation!

What You'll Do:

Calculate and verify commission payments based on sales data and commission structures outlined in employee contracts or company policies

Enter commission-related data accurately into the payroll system or software, including sales figures, commission rates, and any adjustments or bonuses

Review commission calculations for accuracy, ensuring that all calculations are in line with company policies, sales targets, and commission agreements.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify any discrepancies

Collaborate with sales departments, managers, and employees to resolve commission-related queries, provide explanations, and address any issues or concerns promptly

Generate commission-related reports as needed for management review, financial reporting, and analysis purposes

Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to commission payments.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and internal policies regarding commissions
What You'll Bring:

Proven experience in payroll, commission processing, or related financial roles

Familiarity with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks)

Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels

Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and commission structures

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
