University Square Dental Associates in downtown Madison, WI is looking for a full-time dental assistant. This is YOUR OPPORTUNITY to grow with a small, family orientated Madison team. We love our patients, so the candidate must be an outstanding communicator, friendly, organized, maintain professional appearance, highly motivated, skilled with computers, and ready to work in a healthcare and surgical setting. We have an in-office therapy animal, so dog lovers are encouraged! The ideal candidate would be comfortable assisting with a broad range of dental procedures. Candidates should must be comfortable with front office cross training. Experience is not necessary but a positive attitude is.
Job duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Welcome patients to the treatment area
- Being in tune with patient needs and expectations
- Assist chairside for dental procedures
- Inventory dental supplies and order appropriately
- Using computers and Eaglesoft to update electronic patient charts
- Operatory preparation for patient care
- Disinfecting treatment rooms
- Instrument sterilization
- Stocking, cleaning treatment rooms, and sterilization lab
- Cross training with front desk duties
- Taking radiographs, 3D images, impressions

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
