Penn Residential, Inc is seeking a Group Home Program Manager to oversee the delivery of residential services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a single-home setting.
The focus of a Group Home Program Manager:
- achieve independence, growth, and happiness through high quality, creative services for the people in the home
- supervise Direct Support Professionals of the home
- adhere to regulations, enforcing policies and procedures
Essential Responsibilities of a Group Home Program Manager:
- Supervise all aspects of programs to ensure the health, safety, welfare, and personal development of individuals
- Oversee service and planning for individuals. Ensuring that the outcomes in their individual support plans are implemented
- Oversee the development of the home's employees
- Ensure that regular meetings are held relating to care of the individuals, including, but not limited to, monthly employee meetings at the home and treatment team meetings
- Represent Penn Residential, Inc with individuals from the community, parents, and other human service agencies
- Work approximately 36 hours per week of direct care
Experience:
- A Group Home Program Manager should have at least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with Chapters 3800 or 6400 regulations
Education:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Associate's degree or higher.
