Your Role as a Low Voltage Apprentice: As a Low Voltage Apprentice, you will embark on a journey to learn the fundamentals of network cabling installation. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, gaining real-world experience and developing valuable skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber cabling.
- Operate industry-specific test equipment.
- Learn to read blueprints and schematics.
- Understand and apply building codes and industry best practices.
- Master network cabling color codes and termination techniques.
- Participate in the installation of support structures such as J-hooks, cable slings, and cable trays.
Background Profile:
- Experience in a construction environment or a physically demanding role.
- Strong commitment to safety and excellent communication skills.
- Passion for hands-on work and mechanical aptitude.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible hours.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
