- Developing complex estimates of materials and labor required for large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects.
- Analyzing blueprints, site plans, and other construction documents to determine quantities of materials needed.
- Conducting research and analyzing market data to stay informed about current pricing trends and best practices in the industry.
- Communicating regularly with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are aligned on project goals and objectives.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members to help them develop their own estimation skills.
- Traveling to jobsites to inspect existing work and provide feedback to crews.
- Negotiating prices with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that projects are completed on time and under budget.
- Preparing detailed reports summarizing estimates and recommendations for senior management review.
- Collaborating closely with other departments within the organization to ensure that projects are delivered successfully.
- Providing guidance and support to junior estimators as they learn and grow in their roles.
- Staying up-to-date on new technologies and tools related to estimating and takeoff software.

Pay: $84,084.00 - $125,694.00 per year
