Job Title: Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor
Position Summary:
The Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance personnel within Machining Operations. This role is pivotal in directing the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, tools, and equipment. The supervisor also leads capital and building improvements from planning to implementation and ongoing maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage maintenance staffing across up to three shifts.

Recruit, hire, and supervise Maintenance Technicians.

Oversee Predictive and Preventative Maintenance Programs for all machinery.

Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and maintain MRO inventory.

Schedule, coordinate, and assign maintenance tasks and projects.

Support production by enhancing safety, efficiency, and quality.

Formulate, apply, and assess maintenance policies and procedures; manage maintenance records.

Estimate time and costs for equipment repairs and provide replacement recommendations.

Manage relationships and oversee projects with external contractors and service providers.

Advise management on equipment selection and capital investments.

Monitor maintenance and capital expenditure budgets.

Provide troubleshooting support, especially for CNC, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Maintain and repair CNC Milling and Turning Centers with Fanuc controls.

Oversee the Machine Shop’s Preventive Maintenance System and manage critical spare parts inventory.
Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of experience in Maintenance Management.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 7+ years of experience.

Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels.

Able to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.

Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Knowledge of applicable building, fire, electrical, environmental codes, OSHA regulations, and ISO 9001 standards.
Pre-Employment drug screening is required.
