Job Description
The Master Scheduler plays a crucial role in a Security Guard company by overseeing and managing the scheduling and deployment of security personnel. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders, security guards, and management. The Master Scheduler ensures that the company's security operations run smoothly and efficiently, meeting client requirements and maintaining high standards of service.
Responsibilities:

Scheduling and Deployment:

Create and maintain an accurate master schedule for security personnel, considering client requirements, shifts, and available resources.

Coordinate with management to understand their security needs and preferences.

Assign appropriate security personnel to client sites based on skills, experience, and availability.

Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to address changes in client requirements or unforeseen circumstances.

Communication and Coordination:

Communicate regularly with security guards to confirm availability, schedule changes, and provide assignment details.

Collaborate with the operations team to ensure all client requests are fulfilled and any scheduling conflicts are resolved.

Work with management to confirm schedules, address concerns, and provide updates as needed.

Act as the main point of contact for security guards regarding scheduling and assignment-related inquiries.

Track and maintain records of security personnel availability, absences, and time off.

Optimize the allocation of resources to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime costs.

Monitor and manage guard certifications, training requirements, and license renewals to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Maintain accurate documentation of schedules, assignments, and any schedule-related changes.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Monitor the performance and punctuality of security personnel to ensure adherence to assigned schedules.

Provide regular reports to management on scheduling metrics, such as resource utilization, on-time performance, and overtime expenses.

Identify areas for improvement in scheduling processes and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a relevant field is a plus.

Previous experience in scheduling or workforce management, preferably in the security industry.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with security guards, clients, and internal teams.

Proficiency in using scheduling software or tools.

Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

Problem-solving skills to address schedule conflicts and unexpected changes effectively.

Knowledge of relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards related to scheduling and workforce management.
