About Bridging Differences ABA:
Our goal is to provide empirically based therapeutic services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); including communication, social, emotional, developmental, and functional needs. About the Position: Behavior Specialist I or II
Bridging Differences ABA is looking for a reliable, professional, fun, and energetic individual who shares our passion of serving and helping families to fill our need for a Behavior Specialist I. Responsibilities are as follows:
- Managing client caseload under the direct and regular supervision of a BCBA.
- Providing modification, updates, and ongoing maintenance of behavior intervention plans and client treatment plans.
- Writing treatment progress reports, addendums, and exit reports to be reviewed and/or revised by the Supervising BCBA.
- Developing and modifying programs based on data collection and assessment information.
- Ensuring teaching methods are implemented as written.
- Management and ongoing training of assigned Behavior Technicians.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and other ABA certifications must be active throughout the course of employment.
- Responsible for coverage of 1:1 appointments in the absence of Behavior Technicians in the event weekly Supervision hours will be met.
- May be required to conduct in-person Clinical Orientation for newly hired Behavior Technicians.
- Training parents and/or caregivers as indicated in approved treatment plan and in accordance with BDABA Parent Provider Agreement.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
Availability ranging from 8am to 7pm is required (8 hours to be worked within that time frame) and travel is required. We offer ongoing supervision & training, and constant upskilling. Position Requirements:
- Verifiable Bachelors Degree at a minimum PLUS
- 1 Year of Certified ABA experience implementing behavior modification intervention services PLUS
- 12 Units of ABA Coursework OR
- 2 Years of Certified ABA experience
- Resume, cover letter, and list of references required
- Valid Driver's License + Car insurance
- Background Check Clearance
- Physical Health Screening: Must be physically able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and sitting (likely at a smaller, child size table), have the ability to move and carry up to 40lbs, and react quickly if necessary (e.g., run after a child)
- Complete submission of required documents (i.e., vaccination verification (e.g., MMR), TB clearance, auto insurance) prior to first day of work.
- RBT, ABAT, or BCAT Certification Required. Proof of certification is required upon hire.
- Reliable transportation
- Computer, Smartphone, and reliable access to Internet
- Professional demeanor, respectful attitude, strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem-solving and critical thinking.

Pay Scale:
$27-$31 per hour

Work Location:
We currently provide ABA services to families in El Dorado, Sacramento, and Placer counties. We are currently seeking candidates in the Sacramento, CA and surrounding areas.
Availability:
- Monday through Friday
- 8am - 7pm range
- Weekend hours available as needed
