General Requirements / Daily Tasks
• Control system & DSP program manipulation and commissioning
• Able to upload and manipulate code for AV Equipment (Crestron/Extron/FSR/etc.)
• Knowledge of DSP systems: QSC/BSS/Biamp
• Collaborate with Installation team to commission systems and complete projects
• Have a basic understanding of networking
• Interpreting blueprints
• Review and revise AV project documentation over the lifecycle of the project
• Timely and effective communication with client and/or client representatives
• Strategic planning of required resources
• Report on project status at established intervals to the client and company management
Qualifications / Experience Requirements:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline preferred
• CTS or related certification preferred
or
• High school diploma
• At least two years’ work experience in related field
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of established industry standard project management methodologies
• Experience managing multiple ongoing complex projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong written communication skills
• Strong organizational
• Innovative and creative, yet methodical in problem solving
• A commitment to continuous learning
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of commercial audio-visual systems, equipment, and installation
• 2+ years’ experience in the Audio-Visual or construction industry is desirable
• Interest in the latest commercial AV technology trends
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate projects and workload
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation to complete tasks
• Strong sense of customer service
