The Account Manager/Broker will serve as a trusted advisor to key client groups by providing strategic and consultative guidance on identified collaborative initiatives, assessment of potential risk profiles Preparing proposals for new business and renewals. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in servicing key accounts while prioritizing and managing workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate delivery of key objectives.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Building and maintaining constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers by meeting and exceeding expectations

Leveraging environmental insurance markets knowledge and expertise to actively service existing accounts and develop new business opportunities

Supporting brokers and producers in introductory and closing presentations
-
Fostering an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers

Supporting the implementation of new and expanded environmental lines of coverage by setting up accounts, collecting needed environmental documentation, and reviewing environmental data to develop Environmental Due Diligence Reports to assist in putting a Client in an informed buying position

Interacting with external customers to prepare specifications, Data room collection of environmental documentation, underwriting data and related information in the marketing and manuscripting of environmental insurance products/forms

Participating in the retention of renewal business

Executing coverage analysis as needed as well as providing the client with accurate quotation for any additional coverage’s

Developing Summary Comparison Worksheets
Requirements and Qualifications:
-
5+ years’ experience of Environmental Lines client management experience
-
Valid P&C license
-
College degree preferred
-
Proficient in insurance agency management systems

Extensive knowledge of Environmental Lines coverage, rate analysis/procedures

Ability to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and environmental underwriters, including compliance, legislative, federal and state regulatory guidelines

Understanding and conveying environmental marketplace trends, best practices and emerging environmental risks to keep clients informed in order to best meet client needs

Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to collect, interpret and/or analyze complex environmental data and information
