Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to oversee the daily operations of our bar. As the Lead Bartender, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory and supplies, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Train & supervise bar staff. Oversee bar staff performance to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
- Customer Service: Ensure all patrons receive courteous and prompt service. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels. Maintain accurate records of stock levels, & wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all beverages served meet company standards. Monitor the quality of drinks, presentation, and adherence to recipes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and alcohol licensing laws. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Promotions and Marketing: Develop and implement promotional activities to increase bar traffic. Collaborate with marketing teams for special events and promotions.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for staff on beverage preparation, customer service, and safety procedures. Encourage professional growth and development.
- Problem Solving: Address any operational issues promptly and effectively. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on bar performance, sales trends, and customer feedback. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of beverage trends, mixology, and alcohol laws.
- Ability to manage a diverse team and work effectively under pressure.
- Understanding of inventory management.
- Certification in food safety and knowledge of health and safety regulations.
