Overview:
The Treasury Manager is a newly created strategic role which will play a vital role in managing the firm’s financial assets, liquidity and risk. The Treasury Manager will report into the firm’s global Controller but will also work closely with the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Responsibilities will include overseeing cash management, processing payments and compliance with internal and external treasury requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review and release wire and ACH payments to ensure timely and accurate execution of global payments

Analyze current state of treasury process and propose improvements to policies, procedures and cash-management philosophy. Complete annual review of policies and propose further enhancements, as needed

Develop, implement and monitor investment policy

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard firm assets

Forecast daily cash requirements and optimize cash balances to meet operational needs

Monitor global cash flow movements and maintain adequate liquidity for business operations through the use of data-driven modeling

Establish strong working relationships with global bank contacts
- Maintenance of global bank account paperwork, including timely and accurate updates to authorized signers, etc.
- Execute fund transfers to ensure efficient cash management

Management of the firm’s committed line of credit, including quarterly compliance package
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards and internal policies

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including cash flow forecasts and summaries

Develop an effective relationship with the Controller, Chief Financial Officer and other Firm Leader.

Oversee and execute special projects as required.
Qualifications:
The Treasury Manager is a hands-on position requiring a confident and self-starting individual with the ability to establish and advance the capabilities of the this newly created role. The successful candidate will have strong financial modeling capabilities, be intellectual curious and possess a strong desire to identify and implement process improvements alongside the Controller and CFO. The ability to build rapport and collegial working relationships with coworkers, partners and across departments and offices is critical.

7+ years of previous experience in treasury management or related roles.
- College Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or Economics. Professional qualifications such as MBA, CFO or CPA preferred.

Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including experience creating complex Excel models

Strong oral and written communication skills (please provide analytical writing sample, in addition to a standard cover letter)

Excellent attention to detail with ability to accurately execute deliverables in a timely manner.
- Available for work on nights and weekends to meet deadlines and deliverables
The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
