PAYROLL/FINANCE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)
STATE THEATRE CENTER FOR THE ARTS, INC.
The State Theatre Center for the Arts is a non-profit, member supported 501(c)3 in historic downtown Easton, PA. In operation since 1926, our venue is on the National Register of Historic Places, and includes a 1,500-seat main Theatre, a Ballroom and Gallery.
We are seeking a part-time, experienced Payroll/Finance Assistant. Ideal candidate will be able to work well in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Attention to detail and accuracy required. Must have prior payroll experience, preferably with iSolved. Adept at QuickBooks Desktop and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word), as well.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the day-to-day duties of the finance department, including entering bi-weekly payroll, accounts payables and reconciling credit card account. Primary responsibilities include:
1. Complete bi-weekly payroll.
2. Enter bills and invoices for payment in QuickBooks.
3. Assist Finance Manager with daily settlements.
4. Maintain QuickBooks reports and Excel spreadsheets; performs analyses on accounts as required.
5. Assist with annual audit.
6. Perform administrative support functions for CFO, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires three - five years of general accounting experience. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel are also required.
COMPENSATION: Salary commensurate with experience.
