ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a Solar Service Manager to provide technical and troubleshooting support to our customers and installation teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bring a positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented attitude to work
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues remotely where possible
- Create cases with equipment manufacturers for warranty replacement of part
- Schedule service appointments for our service technicians
- Manage RMA processing and refunds for equipment and labor
- Manage invoicing and record keeping for support visits
- Administer service contracts
- Manage parts inventory
- Utlizie company SOPs and apps to conduct business
- Update and maintain records in CRM database
- Provide outstanding customer service via phone and e-mail
- Conceptualize and pursue improvements to our process, e.g. exploring new software solutions and/or new hardware options - appreciating, but never settling for the way things are done.
- Create standard operating procedures and employee trainings
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passionate about solar energy, energy storage solutions, and new ideas
- Experience with techical support, service management, solar troubleshooting
- Knowledge of solar inverters and systems is extremely important
- Knowledge of construction and electrical work extremely valuable.
- Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with a team
- Proficient solar modeling applications, e.g. Aurora, Helioscope, Scanifly, Microsoft, CRM databases
- Able to prioritize tasks and hold yourself accountable for delivering results on schedule
- Able to understand electrical wiring plan sets
- Familiar with NEC, local building codes and permitting processes
- Successful track record of leadership, coordination, mentoring and/or training
- 1-2 years experience in residential or commercial project management is a big plus
BENEFITS
- Salary: $48,000 - $58,000
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, Approx. 40 hrs/wk. on average

- Paid holidays: 8 annually
- Compensation review to be conducted after first 6 months, then each 12 months thereafter
