Successful CPA Firm is seeking a technical lead that is responsible for upper level support of assigned managed services clients. This person will be serving clients across central Alabama, primarily in Montgomery and Auburn markets. The individual may be based out of Montgomery or Auburn office, depending on his/her preference. This position works closely with assigned clients to manage and coordinate all technical aspects of services; A company car is not provided but they receive mileage reimbursement when they do travel to clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Installs and maintains critical systems and services to include any and all facets of a network infrastructure such as servers, firewalls, switches, routing, Microsoft 365, DNS, Active Directory, applications, backups, disaster recovery, telecom service, anti-virus, content filtering, etc.
•Ensures client satisfaction with regard to all facets of network support and/or technical services projects.
•Provides IT advisory services to clients related to the client’s technology strategy and serves as a vendor liaison. Develops appropriate business opportunities with clients.
•Maintains documentation of client environment in documentation platform to ensure knowledge transfer and efficiency of troubleshooting by Tier 1, Tier 2 and management.
•Ensures effectiveness of backup procedures for managed services clients.
•Works with Telecom and ISP providers to consult and provide the best Internet, Private WAN, and Phone services possible with regard to each individual client.
•Oversees and manages projects and assigned responsibilities, as needed.
•Provides guidance, mentoring, and training of tier 1 and 2 technical services employees.
REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s degree or higher with emphasis on Information Technology (relevant work experience with focus on IT engineering and consulting is acceptable).
•Extensive and comprehensive IT experience and expertise related to network design and administration, network security, routers, switches, servers, firewalls, and end user devices.
•Knowledge and experience with deploying and managing cloud solutions (i.e., SaaS and IaaS) for clients.
•Strong leadership and consensus building skills.
•Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work with people in all levels of a business/organization.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Microsoft, Azure, Cisco, or VMWare certification is preferred.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
