The Emergency Medicine Data Institute (EMDI) Customer Service Manager supports the Sr. Director, EMDI and Quality, in implementing EMDI customer service for ACEP customers. This position provides project management for the data registry, implementation strategies, and management for key EMDI customer accounts.
This role will involve proactively managing risk, working independently, and exercising good judgement in the process of guiding customers through successful implementation.
Our ideal candidate has…
- A master’s degree in healthcare, IT, business, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in project management, task organization, risk/cost/change management, budget monitoring, personnel management, and interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in software implementations, system integration, and ETL processes.
- Certification in PMP, ITIL, Lean Six SIGMA, CMMI, or Agile.
Familiarity with clinical workflows through working as a professional nurse (LVN or RN) or related experience in emergency departments/physician practice is preferred. Other desired qualifications include experience working with physician organizations, excellent written/oral communication skills, and prior experience working with sensitive patient health information.
