Job Title: Copyeditor/Communicatoins Specialist

Dingus, Zarecor & Associates PLLC (DZA), a high-growth CPA firm in Spokane Valley, is seeking a full-time Copy Editor/Business Support Specialist.
The candidate would be responsible for the accurate and efficient production and content editing of financial statements, cost reports, and correspondences while providing support to administrative duties. The position is hybrid with 2 onsite workdays per week in the office or more if desired. Flexible hours amongst other team member schedules. Typical work schedules can range between 7am-5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
· Editing, formatting, and proofreading financial statements and financial related reports
· Prepare proposals by reviewing RFPs (Request for Proposals)
· Prepare presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
· Assist with the production and proofreading of marketing materials, newsletters, and research additional marketing activities as requested
· Assist with coordination and assignments for the firm’s annual conference
· Provide general administrative support to the firm as part of a cross-functional team including but not limited to answering phones, forwarding email communications, onsite vendor service calls and client visits, and printing and mailing reports to clients
· Ability to recognize, evaluate, and improve processes through recommending and leading efficiencies
· Create, update, and propose documents (procedures, workflow, protocols) to support administrative processes
· Serve as one of the point people for intranet and website updates
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in English, communications, writing, computer science, business administration, or related field
· Prior experience with editing, formatting, and proofreading financial statements and/or financial related reports preferred
· Strong attention to detail that guarantees accuracy when performing repetitive tasks
· Intermediate Microsoft Office experience with the ability to prepare presentations including charts, graphs, and tables
· Advanced level computer skills
· Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and other publishing software is a plus
· Must be self-motivated yet want to be a part of a growing team
· Good or working knowledge of process improvement or organizational/business analysis and evaluation
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk as needed for production and organization purposes
- Some periods of heavy reading and typing required
- Ability to lift up to 10-20lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
