General Description: To sell Margaritaville at Sea cruises directly to our consumers cultivating and maintaining customer relationships, including inbound calls, building rapport to identify travel needs, and outbound calls to convert leads to group reservations and upselling packages with a focus on relationship-building to generate repeat business to achieve weekly sales targets.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create and Deliver Fun and Escapism.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the job.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls for groups.
- Assist with the berthing of existing groups.
- Sending out invoices in a timely manner.
- Servicing group needs.
- Sending out and following up on proposals.
- Sending ship notifications regarding upcoming groups sailing.
- Research and reply to a customer complaint.
- Ensures existing requests from travel partners and direct guests are serviced and processed resulting in a positive customer experience.
- Provide accurate information including correct terms and conditions.
- Document customer information accurately.
- Excellent communication and listening skills required.
- Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Must be flexible in scheduling.
- Responds to telephone inquiries and complaints following company procedures.
- Communicates appropriate options for resolution in a timely manner.
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail is always necessary.
- Excellent phone presence and etiquette; clear, intelligent speaking voice a must.
- Communicates with the ship service manager directly when issues arise.
- Answer info emails.
- Assist management on any project assigned.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge:
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google
- Kapture Reservation System a plus
