Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Deputy Clerk for the Town of Wausau Florida . The Deputy Clerk will provide administrative support and assist in the efficient operation of the office. Work is performed under the supervision of the Town Clerk and is generally performed in an office setting, but occasional field work may be required. Applicant must pass a background check, drug screen and be bondable.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and word processing
- Assist with research, and file management
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Organize and maintain documents and records
- Assist in maintaining court calendars and scheduling appointments
Skills:
- Proficiency in word processing software
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Experience in data entry and research
- Administrative skills to support office operations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
