SUMMARY:
The Quality Administrator assists the Director of Quality in ensuring all clinics collaborate with the QA department regarding patient care, clinical documentation, and survey readiness. It also involves participating in committee and subcommittee task forces, data management, minutes, and committee member outreach. Supports the implementation and maintenance of other quality systems, including but not limited to process development, internal audit, and data management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Acts as the direct assistant to the Director of Quality
● Monitoring and managing the Quality staff daily activities.
● Generating QI reports.
● Collaborates with other departments' quality activities and system monitoring.
● Coordination, monitoring and evaluation of medical record reviews.
● Develop strong working relationships with all departments and divisions, physicians and non-physician providers and allied health care organizations.
● Tracking quality improvement activities and outcomes
● Ensures all the clinics follow the regulatory guidelines on quality of care, care coordination, and transition in care. Ensure all departments comply with and understand the quality program, reporting elements and regulatory requirements.
● Assist in developing Quality Improvement initiatives identified by HRSA, NCQA (HEDIS), and Health Plans
● Educate providers and other organizational departments in the improvement of member outcomes and satisfaction for assigned population(s).
● Participates in QI/QA Committee meetings and activities
● Creates monthly reports, and managing department minutes.
● Complete all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Four year degree in public health, health administration, or a related field
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the healthcare field
- Minimum one year experience in a role related to QI/QA
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
● Experience in the health care field with a concentration in Quality Management.
● Leadership skills with the ability to direct activities of others, both individually and within a project team setting.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and possess strong time management skills.
● Ability to run reports, analyze data, and produce evidence-based recommendations
