Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales and Events Manager will be responsible for driving sales, fostering client relationships, and ensuring the flawless execution of events hosted on property. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, be flexible, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, with a primary focus on weddings and special events.

Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring a personalized experience.

Demonstrate strong sell skills and conduct effective phone calls and email communication, while being open to and actively implementing call coaching feedback from the Director of Sales.

Conduct compelling site tours, showcasing the venue’s unique features and amenities.
- Prepare and present detailed event proposals to clients.
- Skillfully negotiate terms and pricing to optimize revenue while meeting client expectations.
- Maintain a comprehensive system for tracking sales activities, leads, and client interactions.

Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and BEO (Banquet Event Order) tools to manage and analyze customer data, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.

Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of events.

Coordinate all components of the event including final guest counts, menu selections, bar packages, entertainment, floor charts, and other special event details.
- Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their vision, ensuring all details are effectively communicated to the Food & Beverage team.

Drive incremental revenue through upsells to guests and accurately markup all invoices from outside vendors to clients per standard margin requirements.
- Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Work in conjunction and maintain a positive relationship with the Food & Beverage team, and vendors to ensure effective communication. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions, as requested, to actively promote the property.

In conjunction with corporate marketing team, help drive brand visibility through social media planning, content creation, and community engagement.

In conjunction with the Food & Beverage team and Director of Sales, detail, and help the team prepare for both internal and external events, ensuring their success.
About You:

Bachelor's degree in business, Hospitality Management, Marketing or related field.

Proven track record with at least 3-5 years of experience in wedding sales and event management, within the hospitality industry.

Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and increasing customer satisfaction.

Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends..
