Unique global proprietary venture capital backed, AI Technology/ Legal conglomerate now seeks entrepreneur for accomplished Senior Associate, Case Management position. Seeks Juris Doctor degree from an accredited school and member to the Bar. Minimum 5 years Mass Tort experience. Mass tort filing, managing, and coordinating experience from intake through settlement. Proven track record of successfully managing large caseloads through mass tort proceedings. Prior experience working within a reputable law firm or legal department specializing in mass torts. Establish and manage a highly efficient mass tort pre-litigation team, overseeing cases from inception through case filing/litigation, ensuring adherence to legal procedures and best practices. Outline and begin building a litigation team with support from the head of legal operations to litigate cases subsequently. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs related to mass tort claims. Collaborate with clients, experts, and co-counsel to develop and implement effective client processes. Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials associated with mass tort cases. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff working on mass tort matters. Liaise with cross-functional teams to grow the practice. Thorough understanding of mass tort litigation procedures, including case management and pretrial processes. Experience communicating with multidisciplinary teams, experts, and co-counsel in complex litigation matters. Strong understanding of mass tort litigation procedures, including case management and pretrial processes. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal issues. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, capable of effectively interacting with clients, judges, and opposing counsel. Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage large caseloads while meeting deadlines. Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in utilizing legal research tools and case management software. Serving on a plaintiff steering committee for an MDL a plus. Filing motions to consolidate individual claims into an MDL a plus. Willingness to become licensed in another state. Excellent benefits.
