Responsibilities:
- Reorganize and, if necessary, re-cable network racks across all US business locations.
- Plan and implement new network solutions for recently opened shops and restaurants across the US.
- Play a key role in upgrading all network hardware in alignment with the new global network strategy.
- Provide remote and on-site support to users as workload demands.
- Take ownership of user issues, promptly identifying and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Maintain an up-to-date documentation library, incorporating new system designs, fixes, and guides into project and ticket workflows.
- Uphold a strong customer-centric approach at all times.
- Regularly communicate project and ticket progress with the Head of Infrastructure and/or Senior Network Engineer, preparing for upcoming major initiatives.
- Execute scheduled changes to live systems, collaborating with team members and external partners as needed.
- Organize and maintain all project work within the ticketing system, ensuring transparent tracking of ongoing tasks across the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in network engineering, information technology, or related field preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in cabling, cable management, and hardware installation.
- Proficiency in deploying and troubleshooting Wi-Fi systems, particularly Cisco Meraki.
- Experience in generating Heat Maps using tools like Acrylic, Ekahau, or similar.
- Skilled in troubleshooting interference and managing channels in accordance with wireless standards.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, Spanning Tree, and monitoring systems such as PRTG.
- Strong interpersonal skills, adept at communicating with customers, team members, and external consultants.
- Willingness to take initiative and complete tasks effectively.
- Proven background in a similar role with successful end-to-end network deployments.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a strategic approach to challenges.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Clear and engaging communicator with strong proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally, deliver results under pressure, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and meet tight deadlines.
What We Offer:
- Expected Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 Annually
