What you will do:
Under provider guidelines, will provide nursing triage services, health advice, and coordinate care for patients as appropriate throughout Peterson Health. Using good clinical judgement and critical thinking skills, the nurse will evaluate, assess, and document patients’ questions or concerns, and will assist with management of their disease process to mitigate health risk.
Required Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Preferred Education:
BSN
Required Skills:
Patient Care assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Knowledge and ability to perform skills necessary for unit specific competencies, to include age specific competencies.
Preferred Skills:
Advanced competencies as defined by demonstrated participation in formal Continuing Nursing Education activities.
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Unrestricted Texas license as a Registered Nurse and Basic Life Support
Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
ACLS and PALS
Required Experience:
Possess the knowledge to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients. One year experience as an RN or other clinical position in a clinic setting.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a cardiac or electrophysiology inpatient or outpatient setting.
