Join Lynden Door as a Curriculum Developer & Facilitator
As a Curriculum Developer, you'll be responsible for the overall development and design of various curriculum developed within the Employee Development Team. You will partner closely with the Employee Development Supervisor, Project Coordinator/Creative Writer, and Video Team to create effective and efficient training materials across our family of companies.
As a Learning & Development Facilitator, you'll collaborate with leaders across the company to prioritize development activities and deliver on a variety of training requirements. You will play a critical role in the curation and/or creation of identified training.
You'll be most successful in this role if you enjoy connecting with a broad group of people and are skilled at identifying the critical training needs across various teams. You'll need to be supportive of others while being tenacious in carrying projects through to completion. This role will be accomplished while reflecting the values stated in our Company Statement of Purpose - through collaboration and with professionalism.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (some evening hours may be required)
Responsibilities:
As a Curriculum Developer:

Conduct regular assessments with leadership to determine training and development needs across the Family of Companies.

Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to identify training and development needs.

Develop curriculum to meet those needs for topics where it is more beneficial to create resources rather than curate them.

Ensure best practices for adult learners are adhered to across all trainings, tools/aids, and programs.

Collaborate with the Employee Development Supervisor, Project Coordinator/Creative Writer, and Admin Assistant to ensure timely delivery of custom curriculum projects.

Collaborate with the Employee Development Video Team to develop video trainings as necessary.

Facilitate trainings using the developed curriculum - assessing effectiveness, relevancy, and participant engagement.

Create regular feedback loops and modify curriculum as necessary.
As a Learning & Development Facilitator:

Facilitate Welcome Classes and continue to assess effectiveness.

Curate existing training materials that meet the identified needs and coordinate/facilitate training with individuals and teams.

Create regular feedback loops for all completed training programs to evaluate and measure results.

Modify curated programs as needed.

Provide coaching across the organization as needed.
General Responsibilities:

Work effectively as a team member in Employee Development as well as with all other members of the Lynden Door Family of Companies.

Attend assigned conferences and exhibitions as necessary to develop within your position.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Proven ability to create effective training curriculum.
-
Proficient with Microsoft 365 Apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Ability to influence and solicit help from others without holding a position of authority, including guiding others toward consensus.

Ability to think proactively and function independently.

Ability to develop quick turn-around, practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions in a fast-moving environment.

Analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Customer and results-oriented.

Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Required Education or Experience:
Travel:

Ability to travel 2-3 weeks per quarter, with some possible extra travel early in your tenure.
