Overview:
The Payroll and Benefits Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of payroll processing and administering employee benefits programs within the US organization.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail, compliance with regulations, and effective communication with employees regarding their compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
•Coordinate and manage the end-to-end multi-state payroll process, including calculating wages, deductions, taxes, and ensuring timely payments.
•Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits offerings
•Handling both hourly and salary payroll calculations based on different pay structures
.•Overseeing weekly and semi-monthly payroll schedules to ensure employees are paid on time.
•Developing and maintaining the payroll process, including implementing best practices and streamlining procedures.
•Ensuring payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including tax laws and reporting requirements.
•Collaborating with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and improve overall payroll operations.
•Keeping abreast of changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure the organization's payroll practices remain compliant
.•Providing guidance and training to staff on payroll policies and procedures.
•Generating reports and analyzing payroll data to support financial decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
•Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
•Proven experience in payroll management, including multi-state payroll processing
.•Strong understanding of payroll and benfits regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
•Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
•Workday experience is preferred•Experience in global companies preferred
•Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
