he Onboarding Manager will lead a team in designing and implementing the strategy for the new hire onboarding experience (first 12 months) and the cross-boarding experience for key leadership transitions, that will prepare individuals for success. This role will collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Human Resource offices to uphold the program's quality, collect feedback, assist with marketing to potential candidates, and ensure programs align with the organization's needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish the strategy for and manage onboarding for the organization from pre-boarding through post-boarding.
- Understand and set the direction for using Workday in the onboarding process for all associates.
- Drive an understanding of onboarding to leaders across the organization, providing coaching and resources which help to enrich the associate's experience
- Establish the measurement for ROI/success, monitor these metrics, and report to key stakeholders.
- Establish a consistent method to gather feedback for continuous improvement of the program.
- Monitor and manage the consistency of the messages being shared with new hires across the organization.
- Contribute to creating an environment where associates feel included, empowered, accountable, authentic, and supported during their transition.
- Develop and communicate best practices to hiring managers across the company to improve post-orientation experiences.
- Maintain co-ownership of the Targeted Selection curriculum while responsible for leading the effort to train all new hiring managers, in addition to current hiring managers as the content/methodology changes.
- As needed, facilitate portions of Foundations and other training related to the overall associate experience.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree; Master’s degree preferred in the area of Adult Learning, Organization Development, I/O Psychology or Human Resources
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience tracking metrics and utilizing data analytics to make decisions
- Able to lead/manage multiple projects at a time
- Proven track record for building strong relationships of trust throughout the organization
