Results Statement:
Provides direct and indirect female client care while supervising client activities of daily living in a welcoming and safe home environment. Supports and maintains Alpha Home’s policies, procedures, code of ethics, mission and core values of Spirituality, Compassion, Integrity, Respect and Inclusivity.
FUNCTIONS/BEHAVIORS:

Attends new employee on boarding, orientation, and all mandatory in-services and trainings

Attend staffing and team building meetings as required

Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with other team members and departments as necessary for the benefit and well being of the clients

Demonstrate supervision of clients in a kind, compassionate and firm manner

Oversight of client activities of daily living while in residential program
-
Role-model appropriate personal hygiene and appearance
-
Demonstrate established customer service behaviors and standards
-
Treat all internal and external customers with compassion, dignity and respect

Demonstrate competency in all areas of job training check list

Address concerns immediately and report them to supervisor

Abide by clock in/out and meal break policies

Team members are required to be awake and alert during their shift

Possess a working knowledge about trauma and its effects on clients and be willing to participate in training (Seeking Safety) to become self-aware and aware of trauma informed services
Requirements:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Many of our residential female clients have experienced sexual trauma. For the safety of these clients, DCS applicants must be legally female as allowed by the exemption stated in CM-625 Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications.

High school graduate or equivalent
-
Possess or be willing to acquire CPR and First Aid Certification

Possess a valid Texas driver’s license

Meet auto insurance requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
-
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
-
Able to lift and carry at least 35 pounds
-
Former clients of Alpha Home are not eligible for employment for a minimum of 2 years following discharge
-
Must be motivated to work with multi-cultural, dual diagnosis, and criminal justice clients
-
Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check, employment background check, driver license clearance (if applicable to position) and urinalysis drug screen
