Waterford Estates, located in the South Chicago suburb of Hazel Crest, IL, is a large senior-living community with independent living, supportive living and memory care. Our community currently has an opening for a dynamic Director of Nursing to be a leader in our community.

The Director of Nursing will also conduct regular rounds to ensure nursing practices and services provide a safe and clean environment. They will interview and select new nursing staff as well as train and evaluate the nursing team, and develop and maintain nursing care objectives.

Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with a valid license in our state.
- Previous long-term care experience as a Director of Nursing Services is desired.
- Have experience in performance management and effective leadership.
- Able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and government regulators, and to work cooperatively with others at all levels.
- Demonstrates understanding of state and federal regulations that govern the practices of the facility.
- We are a vaccinated care facility. New hires will need to provide proof of vaccination or other acceptable documents prior to starting employment.
