Job Description:
Solar Direct Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our growing team. As a key leader in our organization, you will oversee and drive the performance of our regional sales team, ensuring we meet our ambitious sales targets in the solar industry. This is a commission-only position with a lucrative 5% override on all deals closed by your sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and support a team of sales representatives to achieve regional sales goals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market penetration.
- Train and mentor sales reps, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor sales metrics and KPIs, ensuring that targets are met or exceeded.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, provide feedback, and set new goals.
- Foster a positive and productive sales environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar role in the solar industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Solar industry experience
- Minimum 2 years of in-home sales experience
- Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and develop effective strategies.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for achieving targets.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
Compensation:
- Commission-only structure with significant earning potential.
- 5% override on all deals closed by your sales representatives.
