Tesla’s mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. The role of the Residential Energy Marketing & Content team is core to this mission as we develop resources and lead programs to increase demand and ensure we and our partners hit installation growth targets.
Tesla is looking for a Demand Generation Program Manager to support our North American direct and channel sales teams and our Certified Installer partners. This includes lead generation, content creation, review of partner content, coordination of events and providing strategic guidance. The overall objective is to increase Tesla’s sales while also enabling our Partners to grow their top lines. This role will report to the Demand Generation Programs Lead in North America and will be based in the Bay Area.
To succeed, this candidate must be highly organized, data-driven, and have a keen eye for detail. They should have a passion for sustainable energy and the ability to execute exceptional marketing campaigns and initiatives to increase awareness and drive sales across North America. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They should be comfortable working in ambiguity and have a strong ownership mentality.
What You’ll Do

Work with the Growth Team to develop targeted marketing strategies that enables the Tesla Residential Energy team to hit their sales targets

Support and execute measurable, multi-channel communications strategies and campaigns to support the growth of Tesla’s Channel Partners

Effectively deliver results within the designated and agreed budgets. Employ test and learn strategies, tracking and analyzing results to optimize performance

Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all Certified Installers operate within the Tesla brand guidelines and meet our brand standards

Manage and drive projects from start to finish while working with cross-functional teams

Work with the Global Content team on consistent and effective messaging of external documents and promotional materials to support our direct and channel marketing activities

Manage special projects such as partner onboarding, quarterly webinar series and monthly reports
What You’ll Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or evidence of exceptional ability and 8+ years of relevant hands-on work experience

8+ years of experience developing growth/product marketing strategies, driving customer acquisition, and executing results-based marketing programs. Experience working in business-to-business (B2B) roles is a plus

Experience within the energy/solar industry is preferred but not required

Robust analytical skills needed to perform data analyses and create data-driven reports

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision and to manage multiple projects

Intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, resourcefulness, integrity, and an eagerness to take responsibility for the continuous improvement of processes and results

Expected Compensation
$68,000 - $222,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
