Position: Senior Cook
The Senior Cook role is responsible for creating our food builds efficiently, consistently, and in standard with our brands expectations and guidelines. Along with food preparation and cooking, kitchen cleanliness, organization, and following health department guidelines are a key part of the role.
We are looking for individuals who are able to work efficiently and quickly in a fast paced environment. In addition, our Senior Cooks are in constant communication with our management team, ensuring that business operations are running smoothly.
Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements: Below is a more detailed list of duties for the Senior Cook position. All team members are expected to be in the store in a clean uniform and on time & clocked in prior to starting their assigned duties. Although there are role specific duties, all team members will still assist the team, if need be, with other duties not listed here.
- Availability must include weekends
- Preferred open availability
- Two years experience as a Line Cook required
- Ability to demonstrate knife skills (chopping, slicing, dicing, etc)
- Knowledge of using basic kitchen equipment
- Prepping all recipes, proteins, and other items to brand standard
- Memorizing all brand builds
- Reading kitchen receipts and building to standard
- Demonstrating sound judgment pertaining to food waste and spoilage
- Maintaining store cleanliness & organization
- Daily cleaning and restocking tasks
- Adhering to all health department codes and policies
- Lifting heavy items from time to time & ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
- Working under pressure and multi-tasking
- Working with a sense of urgency and ensuring that food is prepared within our expected ticket times
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Maintaining open communication regarding wait times with guest facing team
- Packaging takeout orders correctly and quickly
- Assisting in running food to tables when necessary
- Supporting the business with tasks necessary to support daily operations and tasks that ensure the guest has an incredible experience while at the restaurant

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
