Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Front of House Manager (Retreat Services Manager) to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the front of the house, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient dining experiences.
Duties:
- Manage and lead the front of house staff, including servers, porters, and temp workers
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
- Supervise dining room and buffet setup, cleanliness, and organization
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
- Handle customer inquiries, comments, and concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor inventory levels for front of house supplies
- Train new employees on service standards and procedures
Skills:
-Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously
- Proficient in food preparation and safe handling
- Strong inventory control abilities
- Experience in team management and leadership
- Knowledge of buffet, family style, and fine dining etiquette and service standards
- Previous experience in catering operations is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen management practices
- Ability to assist Executive Chef with administrative duties as needed
