The Chicago Hotel Collection, boutique hotel brand with locations in Chicago's premier neighborhoods, is looking for a dedicated Guest Services Representative passionate about hospitality and providing excellent guest services. As a Guest Services Representative, you will be the main point of contact for our guests to ensure they have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. In addition to attending to the needs of our guests, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate guest and reservation information in our systems and online travel agent extranets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor daily arrivals, departures and cancellations from all sources of business, ensure correct entry in property management system
- Ensure property management system and extranet(s) are updated with check-ins, cancellations, modifications, etc.
- Monitor incoming reservations and assist with housekeeping board creation/tracking
- Monitor hotel email, text system, chat bot and respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely manner
- Provide remote guest services and coordinate with on-site teams to assist guests
- Close and balance all guest folios (bills), accounts and direct bills, ensuring charges are routed to the correct folios
- Ad hoc projects and reports as requested by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years prior Front Desk, Night Audit and/or Hotel Guest Services experience
- Prior experience with hotel specific software a must, experience with RoomKeyPMS a plus
- High efficiency with Google Workspace including Gmail, Voice, Sheets and Docs
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members in person and in writing
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
