Position: Logistics Wargaming Analyst (Mid-Level)
Location: Pentagon, Arlington, VA
Overview: Group W is searching for an analyst with a passion for wargaming to support defense wargames and analyses. Candidate must have a demonstrated interest in the art of wargaming. Tasks will range from wargame design, development, facilitation, and analyses activities.
Requirements:
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- 4-year degree from an accredited university
- 3+ years' experience in an educational, defense, or military wargaming environment

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
- 3+ years' experience planning, designing, and executing military wargames

Expertise in military logistics systems and processes

Familiarity with the Joint Logistics Enterprise (JLEnt)

Experience within the JLEnt processes

Experience in a variety of mathematical, statistical, and computer science areas

Experience in service-level logistics operations

Experience using modeling and simulation in support of wargames and analyses

Experience using logistics models such as Joint Flow and Analysis System for Transportation (JFAST) and Analysis of Mobility Platform (AMP)

Experience creating designs of experiment (DOE), implementing them into models and simulations, analyzing output, and interpreting output to provide actionable recommendations to decision makers

Experience briefing and/or working with military and civilian leaders of all ranks

Basic technical support experience in digital wargaming

Experience authoring reports, policy, or proposals

Proven analysis and critical thinking skills

Effective communication (verbal written, listening) and interpersonal skills
Duties/Responsibilities:

Support the design, development, facilitation, analysis, and execution of digital wargames
-
Develop game-related materials for a variety of professional military educational curricula
-
Interface with the client and Group W team members on the development of wargame designs to address a variety of strategic to tactical problems
- Assist with the planning and execution of requirements for wargaming exercises, including data analysis, scenario development, event logistics, and after-action reporting

Provide technical support for the execution of digital wargames and digital wargaming resources
- Work with small government, contractor, and game designers to assist in establishing objectives and the purpose for respective games

Support post-wargame assessment

Coordinate and integrate qualitative and quantitative analysis, models, and tools in the support of wargame data collection and synthesizing wargame results

Conduct wargaming research and literature reviews

Write wargaming reports throughout the process from pre-game analysis to post-game assessment
Salary: $120,000 to $170,000 (provided as a general guideline only. Compensation dependent upon relevant work experience related to the scope of the position, education, training, and market considerations).
