Position Purpose
This position is responsible for ensuring that client needs and expectations are met or exceeded. Client Service Advisor will maintain customer satisfaction by applying problem-solving and relationship building skills and seeking to understand clients and their asked or unasked questions.
The overall goal of this role is to find new opportunities to continue doing business with existing clients and generate referrals for new business through the top five action areas listed below.

Paid Holidays

Duties and Responsibilities

May be responsible for any of the following areas of responsibility in support of our client’s requirements.:
- Built rapport and trusting relationships with existing clients by educating clients on our philosophies and financial investment strategies in a manner that supports them coming to you with all of their investment questions, needs, and new client referrals.
- Based on our client’s level of investment, proactively maintain a schedule of outbound communication with existing clients by completing relationship building calls regularly throughout the year.
- Provide all existing clients with value by following our 8-step financial strategy review process.
- Upon completing internal training, you are required to proficiently use our company’s internal client management system which houses every touch, follow-up, and communication exchange with all of our clients.
- Oversee and ensure the timely completion of all client requests for service and administrative client tasks such as changing beneficiaries, updating client profiles with changes to demographic information and/or sending clients a summary of their accounts.

Personal Attributes and Characteristics
Background Clearance Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check (if applicable) and pass security screening as required for on-site access of customer/other logistics sites.
- Must be able to pass annual background checks and submit to random drug testing.
Education and Experience
- Life & Health Insurance License
- Must be licensed to provide investment advice by holding a Series 65 license, or one of the following designations: CFP or ChFC
- If you have held a Series 7 license and Series 66 license within the last 6 months, you may also qualify
- 3+ years of client facing experience in the financial services industry
- You have sold life insurance and/or annuities
- You naturally create good rapport with others and enjoy building long term relationships with people
- You love going through a client’s profile with the goal of finding what else we can do to help them
- Desire to learn and grow.
- Exceptional organizational, time and project management skills.

Technical Skills and Abilities
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an accomplished knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Access, and Microsoft Project

- Demonstrated aptitude for statistical analysis, spreadsheet manipulation and database management

Position Requirements
Physical and Travel Demands
- On rare occasions, may need to move or lift light-to-medium weight articles
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit at a desk or stand for long periods of time, use a personal computer, telephone, calculator, fax machine, copy machine, overhead projector, scanner, etc.
- Travel to client locations and professional networking events (local, state, and national) is required (up to 25%), including ability to travel and work weekends as needed.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
Work Environment
- An employee in this position works in both an office environment with heating and air conditioning, and on-site at client locations, in support/ execution of assigned duties and remotely in a virtual capacity.

- Typically, work is done inside the corporate office. Some work may be done off-site or at a customer’s location with varying levels of access.
