Responsibilities
Coordinates and manages Mayo's Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) System; publishes Mayo Foundation floor plan database; authors software manuals and training tutorials; instructs classes; develop and maintain Facilities software applications; serves as liaison between Facilities Services, information systems, institution and outside consulting firms. Facilitates the use and development of information systems for Facilities Services. Oversees functions of CADD Coordinator.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in computer science, five years experience in design and/or construction industry, or ten years experience in lieu of degree. Must be able to analyze, diagnose, and solve software, hardware, and network problems. Must have a working knowledge of computer hardware, system design principles, and computer programming. Must have knowledge and experience in building design and construction. Must possess human relations' skills and communication skills to interact with a variety of personnel at various levels within and outside the institution. Must possess leadership skills to manage and direct CADD Coordinator and contract drafting staff.
