About Us
At HDR, we specialize in engineering, architecture, environmental and construction services. While we are most well-known for adding beauty and structure to communities through high-performance buildings and smart infrastructure, we provide much more than that. We create an unshakable foundation for progress because our multidisciplinary teams also include scientists, economists, builders, analysts and artists. That's why we believe diversity is our greatest strength. HDR is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.

Come join the fast-growing Building Engineering Services (BES) Business Group at HDR. BES provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing, site civil, structural, and specialty design services for a wide variety of building projects that include public, municipal, private, and Federal project types both locally as well as across the region and globally. This multidisciplinary team consists of: civil engineers who focus on site layout and grading; structural engineers with emphasis on building support systems (concrete, steel, mass timber, etc.); mechanical engineers concentrating on both wet (piping/plumbing design) and dry (HVAC) building systems and electrical engineers and instrumentation and controls engineers directing design on high, medium and low voltage systems (power distribution, lighting, communication and systems). You have an opportunity to work on a wide variety of building types ranging from technology, aerospace, commercial, industrial and institutional facilities to data centers and highly specialized facilities in the water, wastewater and power delivery sectors.
We believe that the way we work can add meaning and value to the world. That ideas inspire positive change. That coloring outside the lines can illuminate fresh perspectives. And that small details yield important realizations. Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.
