have exceptional project management, time management, and
interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully
manage workflow processes, identify process problems and
opportunities for improvement and simplification, develop new
procedures, and implement methods to improve overall accuracy and
efficiency individually and as a team lead. Additionally, an ideal
candidate will have extensive experience with the use of computer
applications, such as Microsoft Excel and Access, and information
systems as they relate to budget and financial management (preferably
District applications such as BTS, COFE, FRDB, IFS, EPRF, and Job
Cost Accounting). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that
clear, challenging and attainable project goals are met, by ensuring
adequate resources, and that necessary technical skill sets exists among
staff. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills with the
ability to present financial concepts and procedures to staff and other
stakeholders, strong analytical skills, and is skillful at managing one’s
own time, priorities, and resources. The ideal candidate has experience
maintaining composure in the face of a high workload, competing or
conflicting deadlines; and understands the needs, expectations, and
circumstances of internal and external clients at the individual, group, or
organizational level.
