OVERVIEW
The Management Analyst supports the WHS/DoD Transition Team and serves as a central office to coordinate and provide all logistical and administrative support related to Pentagon access and processing for the President-elect Agency Review Team, departing officials and incoming senior officials and other appointees hired as a result of the change in or re-election of the Administration. Over 4,000 political appointee positions across the Federal Government would turn over with a new Administration. In advance of the Presidential election, the DoD Transition Structure was established to plan for, facilitate, and execute a smooth transfer of knowledge while also ensuring the sustainment of critical operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide necessary and required services in support of the Senior Management Analyst / Team Lead
- Assist with administrative operations to ensure they are met in a timely, orderly, and efficient manner to include customer service support, event scheduling and logistics, minutes/note taking, office supply procurement, staff binders and contact lists, mail delivery and retrieval, photocopying and scanning, IT/website/SharePoint update coordination, correspondence review and editing, customer service, and visitor escort
- Conduct research, analysis and communicate analytical findings on new and existing initiatives, projects, programs, planning, and management control processes leveraging structured and unstructured data to formulate recommendations for leadership
- Review and track action items as delegated in support of transition efforts
- Prepare and compile reports, memoranda, and briefings in support of the transition support offices
- Provide information, recommendations, and documentation in support of various office functions and special projects
- Participate in meetings, briefings, and other activities in support of the transition offices
- Provide record management compliance and other record lifecycle material applicable to existing Federal record policy and legislation, in accordance with the DoD Administrative Instruction (AI) 15 and other federal record requirements such as DoD, General Services Administration (GSA) and National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)
- Maintain familiarity with Federal and Department policies with comprehensive knowledge of commonly used management methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies and processes
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Active Department of Defense (DOD) Secret clearance (upgradeable to Top Secret)
- 0.5 years’ experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or relevant military experience
- Ability to collaborate with team members and work independently

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
