Summary/Objective
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring top talent. Additionally, this role will involve coordinating and facilitating comprehensive training programs to ensure new hires are effectively onboarded and equipped for success.
Essential Functions

Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone and in-person interviews, and evaluate candidates' qualifications.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and team needs.
Training:
- Design and deliver training programs for new hires, focusing on company policies, job-specific skills, and overall organizational culture.
- Coordinate training schedules and ensure timely and effective delivery of training sessions.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making improvements as necessary.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to new employees throughout their onboarding process.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify additional training needs and opportunities for employee development.
Performance Management:
- Track the progress of new hires during their 90-day probation period.
- Provide feedback and support to ensure new employees successfully integrate into their roles.
- Implement strategies to improve employee retention and satisfaction.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
Required Education and Experience
- A minimum of (3) years of relevant Recruitment experience.
- A minimum of (3) years of relevant Training experience.
- A minimum of (1) year of experience in a hotel/restaurants environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Effective communication skills, oral and written.
- Experience in Word, Excel, Payroll and other applicable database programs helpful.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to speak Spanish and/or Creole helpful, but not necessary.
