Job Title: Youth Leadership Manager

Pay Range: $66,560 - $71,500 (based on experience and qualifications)
Reports to: Director of Community Organizing
Position Description
The Youth Leadership Manager will be the primary programmatic lead, organizing program curriculum, implementing trainings in policy and advocacy, and coordinating group activities and field visits to partner organizations. This role will work with HR for work-readiness trainings in resume building, mock interviewing, and job search. The Youth Leadership Manager will act as the primary lead in programmatic coordination and implementation, including work experiences for Transitional Age Youth (TAY) participants interested in working with TLCBD's Policy & Voice, and Operations and Stewardship programs.
Responsibilities
- Organize and implement program curriculum and trainings in policy, advocacy, and community
engagement.
- Coordinate group activities, field visits, and collaborations with partner organizations.
- Develop and manage work-readiness trainings, including resume building and job search support.
- Act as the primary lead in coordinating programmatic activities and work experiences.
- Support TAY (18-24 years old) in successfully completing the program and achieving their goals.
- Collaborate with the Youth Engagement Manager to ensure effective participant recruitment
and transition.
- Report to the Director of Community Organizing and work closely with the Director of Parks.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in youth leadership development, program management, or a
related field.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in policy analysis, advocacy, or community organizing is a plus.
- Ability to work with a diverse, multicultural population
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proficient in using digital platforms for engagement and outreach.
- Basic proficiency in Canva.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
