What you will do:
- Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including their features, functionalities, and applications, to effectively communicate their value propositions to clients;
- Understand customer requirements and business objectives to identify sales opportunities;
- Conduct engaging and informative presentations, documentation, and materials to showcase the product information, benefits and capabilities of our products to existing and prospective customers;
- Develop product and program suggestions with clients to design customized solutions that meet their specific requirements, leveraging your technical expertise and knowledge of our products;
- Work with Sales Administration to prepare detailed proposals and quotations that outline the recommended solution, pricing, and implementation plan, ensuring alignment with client expectations and objectives;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients by understanding their business objectives, addressing concerns, and providing timely support and assistance;
- Ability to take and communicate measurements, sizing, and other assistance required of engineering department;
- Follow up on sold products and services to ensure that we met and exceeded the client’s needs and expectations;
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks to identify opportunities for business growth and differentiation;
- Develop business plan of growth via new client and product growth;
- Work with cross functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, customer service, field technician, etc.) and customers to develop pipeline and execute campaigns to increase aftermarket sales.
Skills you need:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, business, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales, business development, or technical sales in a related industry;
- Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time for client meetings, presentations, and trade shows;
- Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Capacity to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills;
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to a non-technical audience;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling information and tasks;
- Track record of achieving and exceeding performance targets or goals in previous roles;
- Proven ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion with minimal supervision;

The company offers a 401k plan where employees can contribute and begin receiving the company match after 3 months of employment. The Plan provides a matching contribution of 50% on the first 5% of compensation deferred.
Location, Availability, and Hours:
This position will be based out of our office in Dent, OH, about 15 minutes outside of Downtown Cincinnati. This position will be expected to be on site when not traveling. Hours will vary based on business necessity, client needs, and travel time.
