Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in various types of kitchens, possess knowledge of food safety practices, and excel in menu planning and meal preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meets the restaurant's standards
- Assist in developing new menu items and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Cook in a professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Proficiency in knife skills and various cooking techniques
- Experience in fine dining, food service, meal preparation, and catering
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
