We are a small business growing and are looking to bring on a bookkeeper to help us continue to scale. The bookkeeper will be responsible for making payments to utility companies, vendors and contractor, create reports to track numbers and read and input numbers from real estate closing documents. The position is remote, but the person should live within 30 minutes to Mount Laurel, NJ.
Responsibilities include:
- Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements
- Process biweekly payroll
- Keep track of contractor expenses
- Assist in preparation of annual 1099s
- Raise any flags with higher than usual expenses
- Accurately enter data into QuickBooks
- Process invoices and bills in a timely manner
- Match vendor expenses to statements
- Step in to help with administrative tasks
- Bank trips
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Proficiency in Google Sheets
- Expert knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated, detail oriented
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 2-5 years of experience
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
